Preparation for this trip has and continues to involved a lot of work and $ before Pilgrim is to the standard we need.
Starting with a brand new Yanmar 3YH4E, what remains includes rigging, sails, electrics and all the pretty electronics that is almost an essential part of todays cruising technology. AIS for example will hopefully help me avoid Jessicas initial woes - time will tell.
I'd be untruthful if I were to say that I am enjoying this part of the plan but the hard work now will pay off soon.
